New international gangs of people smugglers formed in Czechia

New international gangs focusing on illegal migration were formed in the Czech Republic last year, while Czechs often worked as drivers in them or secured vehicles, the police organised crime squad (NCOZ) writes in its annual report for 2021 released today. Other gang members were foreigners from Ukraine, Syria and Vietnam with long-term or permanent residence in the Czech Republic that still remains rather a transit country for refugees from the third world.
