New decree redefines protected zones in Krkonose National Park

May 25th, 2020

Czech Environment Minister Richard Brabec (ANO) has signed a decree newly dividing the Krkonose (Giant Mountains) National Park (KRNAP) into four protected nature zones instead of the previous three, KRNAP managers told CTK today. KRNAP was the last of the country's four national parks that waited for a new ministerial decree. The new system of zones is planned for the next 15 years.
