New daily Covid cases rising in Czech Republic again

The number of new daily Covid-19 cases is rising in the Czech Republic, with 9,567 new infections registered on Wednesday, 400 more than on Tuesday and 1,077 more than a week ago. However, the number of people hospitalised with Covid-19 has dropped, according to data released by the Health Ministry. The number of coronavirus patients in Czech hospitals dropped by 250 week-on-week and by 180 as against Tuesday, totalling 5,811 on Wednesday. Of them, 985 were in a serious condition.
