New daily Covid cases rising again in Czech Republic

The Czech Republic registered 7,117 new confirmed coronavirus cases on Monday, 152 more than a week ago, the number of Covid patients in hospital has also increased day to day, but it is lower than a week ago, according to data released by the Health Ministry. On Monday, there were 5,854 Covid patients in hospital, roughly 400 more than on Sunday and about 400 less than a week ago, while 988 of them were in a serious condition, compared with more than 1,000 a week ago. The number of people likely to have contracted the novel coronavirus in the Czech Republic is approaching one million, totalling about 994,500 as of today. The number of active infections stands at 92,700.
CTK
