The new Czech prime minister, Petr Fiala, will meet his counterpart Eduard Heger, President Zuzana Caputova and parliament chairman Boris Kollar during his visit to Slovakia on Tuesday, which will be his first foreign trip since the mid-December appointment of his cabinet. Slovakia, which formed a joint state with Czechia from 1918 to 1992, has traditionally been the first foreign country which Czech PMs visit after their appointment.
