Hungary will launch a new festival celebrating 20th century composer-pianist Bela Bartok this spring, the director of the Palace of Arts (MUPA), the festival organiser, said on Wednesday. The festival dubbed Bartok Spring International Arts Weeks will feature renowned performers including the English Baroque Soloists & Monteverdi Choir with John Eliot Gardiner, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra with Vasily Petrenko, Rene Jacobs with the Kammerorchester Basel and several other international and Hungarian artists in live streams free of charge between April 2 and 18, Csaba Kael told an online press conference.
