Addressing the gathering in Pilsudskiego Square, President Duda referred to this year's motto and emphasised that "in 2020, Poland will celebrate the centenary of the Battle of Warsaw, or the Miracle on the Vistula River, which saved Poland from the Bolshevik onslaught and made it possible to continue building a sovereign Polish state."
