Nearly 1,000 delicacies in Polish Traditional Products' list

Poland's Agriculture Ministry's list of Traditional Products contains nearly 1,000 regional products. The list is becoming longer together with growing interest in regional delicacies. The ministry began drawing the list of Traditional Products to promote regional specialties in 2005. By April 2012 it contained 962 products. The biggest number of regional delicacies was accepted from the following provinces: Pomorskie (132), Slaskie (124), Podkarpackie (105) and Opolskie (52).
