Nascent Czech government holds first informal meeting

Prime Minister-designate Petr Fiala has convened the first informal government meeting of the government slated to come to power in mid-December. Fiala's cabinet is to comprise the election-winning Together alliance of the ODS, Christian Democrats (KDU-CSL) and TOP 09 and of the Pirates/STAN tandem. The five parties command the majority of 108 mandates in the 200-seat lower house of Czech parliament.
