Slovakia's National Crime Agency (NAKA) has detained four people suspected of bribery and money laundering during two raids carried out in Poprad (Presov Region) and Bratislava on Tuesday, Police Corps spokesman Michal Slivka told TASR. NAKA carried out two concurrent sets of raids codenamed TERRA in Bratislava and Zemepan (Lord of the Manor) in Poprad. "We've detained four people suspected of corruption and money laundering. The investigation concerns land-restitution proceedings at the Slovak Land Fund (SPF)," Slivka said. The plots of land concerned are located on the territory of the villages of Vrbov, Velka Lomnica, Nova Lesna, Zakovce and the town of Svit (all Presov region).
