NAKA arrests former Nitra tax bureau head over VAT refunds

The National Criminal Agency (NAKA) arrested former Nitra tax bureau director Radoslav U. [name abbreviated due to legal reasons] and another man, Ladislav S., in a crackdown in Nitra on Wednesday over VAT refunds worth millions of euros, TA3 TV reported on Wednesday. "The case is linked with notorious names emerging in the greatest corruption scandals, former Financial Administration Criminal Office director Ludovit Mako, entrepreneur Michal Suchoba and former Financial Administration director Frantisek Imrecze," stated TA3.
