NATO integration teams are an important tool even in peacetime, for example, they help the armed forces speed up planning and modernisation processes, Defence Minister Jaroslav Nad said on Tuesday on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the NATO Force Integration Unit Slovakia. The team was also helpful in last year's countrywide testing of the population. "I appreciate the work and commitment of our soldiers and allies from seven countries - the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Germany, Romania, the United Kingdom and the United States. Their contribution is an expression of partnership and solidarity and an important part of our joint efforts for our own and Allied defence and security," said Korcok.
