Nad: Any 'no lockdown alternative' is populism

There is no alternative to a lockdown; every other solution proposed at this moment is populism, Defence Minister Jaroslav Nad said before the cabinet meeting on Wednesday. Nad said the cabinet would vote in favour of the anti-pandemic measures sponsored by Health Minister Vladimir Lengvarsky. "It's difficult to say what the government will approve, the talks are still ongoing," Nad said. "The word of the day is responsibility, or responsibility versus populism. I believe that responsibility will prevail."
