September 3rd, 2019

MP for the far-right People's Party Our Slovakia (LSNS) Milan Mazurek has lost his seat in Parliament after his conviction for defaming a race, nation and belief was upheld on Tuesday, parliamentary mandate committee chair Juraj Blanar confirmed for TASR on the same day. A three-member senate of the Supreme Court confirmed Mazurek's conviction and handed him a fine amounting to EUR 10,000.
