Almost two-thirds of Czechs say that homosexuals should have the right to adopt a child of their partner and half of them support their right to get married, according to a poll conducted by the CVVM polling centre released on Thursday. Gays and lesbians can so far only enter into a registered partnership in the Czech Republic and Czech law does not allow for child adoptions by same-sex couples. The poll found that 64 percent of Czechs would enact the possibility to adopt the partner's child in same-sex couples, while 29 percent were against it.
