Most, 66 percent of Czechs come across fake news - poll

May 17th, 2021

The number of Czechs who have come across disinformation is increasing, having reached 66 percent of Internet users last autumn, which was some 11 percent more than a year ago, according to a study of the Endowment Fund for Independent Journalism (NFNZ) released today. The respondents mostly came across disinformation by chance, in social networks postings or they were shared by one of their contacts, they read it in comments on social networks or news websites.
