June 3rd, 2019

The value of mortgages in Poland doubled in the last ten years, while the average value totalled over PLN 263,000 (EUR 61, 282), according to the Polish Bank Association (ZBP). According to ZBP, the value of new mortgages has increased by a quarter in the last ten years. The recent 'InforKREDYT' report, based on data from the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF), shows that the value of all liabilities of Poland's households totalled PLN 708.4 billion (EUR 165.5 billion) in 2018.
