More than two-thirds of Czechs support NATO membership - poll

Sixty-eight percent of Czechs support the NATO membership of their country, while over 70 percent shared this view in 2019 and 2017, according to the results of a poll that the STEM institute released today. One-third (32 percent) is concerned about the security of the Czech Republic because of the current international situation. In 2019, 38 percent showed this concern, and 2017, as many as 64 percent were concerned about the security. The pollsters said this fear seemed to be related to the situation following the migrant crisis.
