More than 2,600 Ukrainians entered Slovakia on Monday

A total of 2,621 people from Ukraine entered Slovakia via the Slovak-Ukrainian border on Monday, of which 770 were men, 1,491 women and 360 children, the Interior Ministry has reported. Of the total, 311 have applied for temporary refuge in Slovakia. Meanwhile, 3,257 people crossed into Ukraine via the same border on the same day. Since the start of the war in Ukraine, Slovakia has processed 555,190 refugees from that country.
