More than 2,100 Ukrainians enter Slovakia on Monday

A total of 2,125 people from Ukraine entered Slovakia via the Slovak-Ukrainian border on Monday, of whom 635 were men, 1,163 women and 327 children, the Interior Ministry has reported. Of the total, 285 have applied for temporary refuge in Slovakia. Meanwhile, 2,628 people crossed into Ukraine via the same border. Since the start of the war in Ukraine, 451,572 people from the country have fled to Slovakia, and 77,667 of them have been granted temporary refuge. The total number of people who have crossed into Ukraine since February 24 stands at 194,664.
