Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on Friday condemned the Supreme Court's Thursday ruling, saying that barring judges appointed under new government laws from issuing rulings may lead to destabilisation of the legal order in Poland. Meanwhile, the European Commission requested the Court of Justice of the European Union for interim measures seeking the suspension of disciplinary measures against Polish judges.
