Morawiecki: Strong Europe needs ambitious budget

Poland is trying to convince several smaller EU countries that funds are needed to fulfill ambitions, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said in Brussels on Friday, the second day of an EU budget summit. Morawiecki positively evaluated his Thursday night talks with European Council President Charles Michel. "We managed to bring our positions closer as far as many issues are concerned. Our talks with Charles Michel and bilateral meetings were good," he said.
