November 5th, 2020
Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said on Thursday that if necessary, a national quarantine would be implemented in seven to 14 days, though it may be avoidable. The prime minister told a press conference that whether or not a national quarantine was implemented depended on whether people maintained discipline. On Wednesday, the prime minister said that if the Covid-19 infection rate breeches the threshold of 70-75 cases per 100,000 residents and stays at that level for seven days, the government would have to introduce a national quarantine including travel bans.
