Moody's forecasts Poland's 2021 GDP growth at 4 pct

March 30th, 2021

The Polish economy is expected to grow by 4 percent in 2021, global ratings agency Moody's has written in a report published on March 29. The latest forecast is the same as that published by the agency last September. According to Moody's, a historically strong economy, a solid macroeconomic framework and the stability of the financial sector are the strong points of Poland's credit rating. But, on the other hand, an aging society and its potential influence on mid-term growth, social divisions and regional inequalities increase the country's political risks.
