Poland's health minister said on Monday that monkeypox is not an epidemiological problem on a par with coronavirus and that there are currently no cases of the disease in Poland. Adam Niedzielski told a press briefing at a hospital in Szczecin, northwestern Poland, that he would cool emotions connected with the subject of monkeypox. Niedzielski described the risk as "relatively small" with no cases in Poland. He admitted that one person had been suspected but verified as negative. He also gave his assurance that vaccines had been secured for medical staff.
