Monday marks start of Slovakia's national census

A census is being launched in Slovakia on Monday, with the Statistics Office reporting on scitanie.sk that it will be fully electronic. The fact that the census will be electronic means that everyone will be able to register themselves, but there will also be an option to make use of an assisted census, meaning that people will be eligible to visit a designated site for this purpose. In that case they will be registered by an assistant or will be able to ask for such assistants to visit them at home. The electronic census is set to last until March 31, while the assisted one will start in April and end in October.
