Labour Minister Milan Krajniak said on Wednesday before the government session that he can imagine adopting stricter measures on Slovakia's borders, noting that it will be necessary in order to prevent the South African and the Brazilian mutations of the novel coronavirus from entering the country. According to Krajniak, every new tightening of measures in some areas allows the government to slightly relax the restrictions somewhere else. "This is one of the reasons why I support imposing harsher restrictions on cross-border movement," he noted. Meanwhile, head of the Slovak diplomacy Ivan Korcok remarked that tightening the procedures on the country's borders won't be a diplomatic problem because other countries have been doing the same.
