Minimum subsistence level expected to increase by 7.5 pc from July

May 31st, 2022

The minimum subsistence level should increase by 7.5 percent as of July 2022, as this was the amount by which the incomes of Slovak households grew per person in the first quarter of 2022, the Statistics Office has reported. The office has provided the Labour Ministry with two indicators required by the law. These determine increases in the minimum subsistence level every July 1.
