Million-plus Poles apply for settled status in the UK

Over a million Poles have applied for settled status, the British Home Office announced on Thursday. The 1,107,060 Polish applications make Poles the biggest national group out of the around 6 million EU citizens seeking to work and live in the UK in the post-Brexit environment.
