Whereas others speak a lot but through the mass of words essentially say nothing, Pope Francis chooses words that are of surgical precision and so sharp that they almost cut through the air, Culture Minister Natalia Milanova said on Tuesday in response to the pope's speech in Slovakia on Monday. "The pope is a precious mixture, with his words not only carrying weight, but also being in harmony with his personality," said Milanova, adding that Pope Francis possesses the thoughtfulness of his predecessors but "complements this with genuine spontaneity, human feeling and a joyful spirit".
