Mikulec 'turns blind eye' to MPs supporting no-confidence motion in him

June 9th, 2021

Interior Minister Roman Mikulec remarked before the cabinet meeting on Wednesday that he perceives the fact that We Are Family MPs Peter Pcolinsky and Adriana Pcolinska -- the brother and wife of former Slovak Intelligence (SIS) head Vladimir Pcolinsky, who has been remanded in custody --intend to support an upcoming no-confidence motion in him as a theoretical violation of the coalition agreement, but he is "turning a blind eye to it". "It's not completely in order, but everyone can vote freely," said Mikulec. As for recent comments made by Labour Minister Milan Krajniak, who said in a televised politics show at the weekend that Mikulec was lost in what has been taking place lately at his own ministry and its agenda, Mikulec claimed that he was set to meet both Prime Minister Eduard Heger and Krajniak about this on Monday.
