Interior Minister Roman Mikulec has denied claims that the police are not taking action in the case of an eleven-year-old who was severely bullied by a group of teenagers, saying that acting Police Corps chief Stefan Hamran had assured him that the police are paying their utmost attention to the case. "The fact that the public doesn't know and is not even supposed to know about the police's every move should not create room for questioning their work," Mikulec said. "In addition to repressive activities in such incidents, the police also act in an important, preventive manner."
