The current migration crisis at the Polish-Belarusian border is political in nature and its aim is to destabilise the EU, the Polish prime minister said after talks with a top EU official. Mateusz Morawiecki on Wednesday met with European Council President Charles Michel. "The developments over the last few days are a test for Poland and a test for Europe, and we realise that the risks may escalate, that the situation may deteriorate and that we may face yet more provocations from (Belarusian President Alexander) Lukashenko and the powers behind him," he said.
