Migrants gather in thousands at Kuznica checkpoint

Thousands of migrants are gathering at the Kuznica crossing on the Polish-Belarusian border, a Polish deputy interior minister said on Monday. Maciej Wasik said the migrants are being escorted to Kuznica by Belarusian security forces reportedly to take part in an attempt to force their way across the border. Polish police placed a water cannon on the crossing in case of trouble. "Thousands of migrants have moved from their camp to the closed Kuznica crossing under the supervision of Belarusian security forces," Wasik wrote on Twitter.
