Merkel's words on coronavirus may cause panic - Czech PM Babis

German Chancellor Angela Merkel's statement that two thirds of the population may get infected with the coronavirus in Germany could cause panic, Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis (ANO) told CTK today. Babis said the Czech authorities adopted resolute measures so that such bad scenarios would be out of question in the Czech Republic. "The Czech Republic introduced the measures sooner than all other European countries including Germany in order to prevent a massive spread of the epidemic," he said.
