The parliamentary culture and media committee on Tuesday agreed that Culture Minister Natalia Milanovas (OLaNO) decision to preserve mandatory quotas for Slovak music on commercial radio stations is appropriate. This isnt the time to scrap the quotas, said committee member Roman Foltin (SaS) at the session, pointing to the effects of the pandemic on artists, including musicians, who would have seen their incomes reduced even further if the quotas had been scrapped.
