Mayors ask for suspension of declaring Krivoklat national park

Mayors sent an open letter to PM Petr Fiala, asking him to stop the process of declaring the Central Bohemia's Krivoklat area a national park, because relevant documentation is missing and there is a pressure on speed of the procedure, mayors told reporters in Prague today. Over 30 mayors and representatives of municipalities are of the view that the current protection of the local environment works and leads to sustainable development.
