May 10 Polish presidential vote not possible - electoral commission

The May 10 presidential election ordained by Poland's Sejm (lower house) speaker cannot be carried out, the State Electoral Commission said. The commission said that although the elections have been set for May 10, an April 16 law on special measures in face of the coronavirus epidemic suspended some electoral procedures, including the commission's right to issue voting cards.
