Matovic wants changes to taxation of wages, proposes one levy and one tax

Finance Minister and OLaNO leader Igor Matovic has proposed making extensive overhauls to the taxation of labour and wants the whole system to be based on employers paying 39 percent levies off total costs per employee and employees paying a 19 percent personal income tax. Speaking at the second in a series of press conferences on tax-levy reform on Monday, Matovic pointed out that the measure would leave employees with an additional 395 million euros of annual income.
