Slovak Finance Minister Igor Matovic on Friday said he considers the proposal for people to pay for PCR tests in full to be forcing them into vaccination. Addressing parliament, Matovic said that a poor family, which can't afford regular tests, would thus be pressured to get vaccinated. According to Matovic, the coalition council meeting lasted six hours on Thursday, where they finally reached a compromise that Health Minister Vladimir Lengvarsky's proposal would be postponed. At the same time, people should pay either nothing or a symbolic amount for testing, he said.
