A possible cooperation deal between the Malian government and Russian mercenaries would be an uncrossable red line for the Czech military's further operation in Mali, Czech Defence Minister Lubomir Metnar told CTK after meeting his French counterpart Florence Parly today. Parly previously warned Mali that if it struck a deal with the Russian Vagner group, it would lose the international community's support. The Vagner group has been infamous for supplying Russian mercenaries to conflicts in the east of Ukraine, in Syria, Libya and the Central African Republic.
