Main opposition says candidate did well in 1st round

The leader of Poland's main opposition party, the Civic Platform (PO), Borys Budka, said on Monday that his party's candidate in the presidential election, Rafal Trazaskowski, would be advancing to the second round of the election with a very good result. "The majority of Poles support change," he said. "If the Polish people were satisfied with President Andrzej Duda, he would have secured a landslide in the first round of Sunday's vote," Budka said.
