The Polish city of Lodz has been named the most attractive city for business in Central and Eastern Europe in the Business-Friendly Perception Index 2021 published by the Emerging Europe website. "Lodz is the first city in Poland, apart from Warsaw, to have received the prize," said Emerging Europe's founder Andrew Wrobel. The city, with a population of over 670,000, beat off challenges from Prague, Ljubljana, Budapest and Kiev to take the award, Emerging Europe's Craig Turp-Balazs wrote.
