Lockdown bringing multi-billion losses

The closing down of the economy costs Poland PLN 1.3 billion (EUR 280 million) each day, the Rzeczpospolita daily wrote on Friday. Krzysztof Poznanski, managing director of the Polish Council of Shopping Centres, told the daily that "the previous 15 weeks of lockdowns have resulted in losses in the turnover of shops and services exceeding PLN 33 billion (EUR 7.14 billion)."
