Lipsic not to run for Slovak prosecutor-general

Lawyer Daniel Lipsic will not run for the post of prosecutor-general and plans to continue practising law, TASR learnt on Friday. "I wish Slovakia a determined and decisive prosecutor-general," Lipsic posted on Facebook. He added that the new prosecutor-general is to be selected in the most transparent election in the history of the office. Parliament is due to hold the election at a session set to begin on November 24.
