Lewandowski to quit Bayern Munich

Polish football star Robert Lewandowski has decided to leave Bayern Munich, after eight years at the German club. "A transfer will be the best solution for both sides," Lewandowski said in Warsaw on Monday, adding that his journey with Bayern Munich "has come to an end." Lewandowski, who is also captain of the Polish national team, said he did not see his future with the German champions despite the fact that he still had a year to run on his contract.
