Lajcak to attend UN Gen Assembly in NY

Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak, a former UN General Assembly president, is due to leave for New York on Thursday to attend the opening of the 74th General Assembly and later to accompany President Zuzana Caputova, who will head the Slovak delegation, the ministry's press department told TASR on Thursday. Lajcak is scheduled to appear at several events as part of his agenda in New York, including those aimed at supporting multilateralism, security, peace-building, the prevention of conflicts, mediation, sustainable development and the environment.
