October 25th, 2019
Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak on Friday received an honorary doctorate from the rector of the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) in Sofia, Bulgaria. The minister said in his speech that he has very close relations with Bulgaria and is tied to the country on a personal level as he once studied the Bulgarian language, history, culture and realities at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) and also spent three months in Sofia as a student interning at the Czechoslovak representation office.
