Lajcak in Washington speaks about Ukraine, Syria, Western Balkans

Head of Slovak diplomacy Miroslav Lajcak (a Smer-SD nominee) has held talks in Washington concerning Brexit, Syria, the Western Balkans, Ukraine and transatlantic cooperation, TASR was told by the Slovak Foreign and European Affairs Ministry's press department on Tuesday. Lajcak discussed Ukraine with former US special envoy to Ukraine Kurt Volker. They reviewed the latest developments in the country, in particular the efforts of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky aimed at settling the conflict in eastern Ukraine.
