Labour Ministry prepares changes to thirteenth pensions

The Labour Ministry will submit a bill on the so-called thirteenth pension for inter-departmental review on Wednesday, Labour Minister Milan Krajniak has said. The current government is thus about to change a law that was adopted by the previous one. Krajniak said that pensioners will get more than twice as much than they received before. For example, a pensioner receiving a pension amounting to 214 euros per month will get a thirteenth pension of 300 euros, while one receiving a pension of 500 euros will get 197 euros.
